MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN THE COUNTY OF SANTA BARBARA AND THE SANTA BARBARA COUNTY SHERIFF’S MANAGERS ASSOCIATION

 

QUALIFYING SUBJECT AREAS FOR EDUCATIONAL INCENTIVE

The County and the Sheriff’s Managers Association have agreed that the following list of subject areas generally qualify for educational incentive. The qualifying areas listed below are representative of the intent of the program; course work from subject areas not listed may be approved by the Human Resources Director and the Department Head. Further, while a degree may be required for receipt of the incentive, degrees may not be available in all subject areas listed. Employees are encouraged to qualify courses with the Human Resources Department before taking them if there is any question as to their acceptability.
