Employee Assistance Program Training Sessions Now Available - Come see what the EAP program offers you. All employees enrolled on County health plans and their dependents, even if not on a County health plan, are eligible for this benefit. Free counseling and a variety of telephone consultation services are available. Employee sessions are only 1/2 hour and separate supervisor sessions will also be held. All enrollment forms received have now been input by Aetna or Kaiser. Payroll deductions are being input now for Pay Period 15. Be sure to check your earnings statement for Pay Period 15 to make sure you plan and coverage selections are correct. Help to Quit Smoking in Santa Barbara - County employees are eligible to participate in free smoking cessation classes funded by the Tobacco Prevention Settlement Program. Monthly classes are held monthly in Santa Barbara & Santa Maria and every other month in Lompoc. Free or reduced cost medications are also available subject to income limits. Check the flyer for more details.

VSP Out of Network Reimbursement Amounts have just been increased
If you obtain an eye exam or frames and lenses from a non-VSP provider, you will now receive a higher level of reimbursement towards your cost. See the VSP flyer (also posted on our website) for details. To obtain your reimbursement, you'll need to file a VSP claim form.

INTERESTED IN COMMUTER BENEFITS? - Want to save money on your daily commute? If you're commuting by transit bus, rail or vanpool, your expenses can be payroll deducted pre-tax up to $115 per month including a $10 monthly County contribution. Check the Commuter Benefits flyer for more details. Enroll with ADP FlexDirect by the 5th of any month (9:00 p.m.) to sign up for a pass for the following month. Transit orders received after the 5th of the month will be used for the next month.

Ventura Vista E-Purse option now available. You can now select E-Purse on the ADP Flexdirect website. Please note you must have a GoVentura Smartcard distributed by VCTC before you can order from this Transit Authority through this program. If you already have a card please proceed with your order. If you do not have a card, it is necessary to obtain a card from the Transit Authority before ordering.
