Santa Barbara County Employee Discount Program

The service and products displayed on this page offer discounts to any County regular employee. Some vendors will offer discounts to our extra help and contractors-on-payroll, please check with the vendor. These same services and products are also offered to the public without this discount.

Blue Shield Vision Discounts - As an added feature, Blue Shield offers members 20% discounts on the following products and services: Routine eye examinations, Frames and lenses, Photochromic lenses, Tints and coatings. Just present your Blue Shield ID card to a MES provider. To locate one, login at www. blueshieldca.com, select Find a Provider and click on Vision Care. To obtain a 15% discount on LASIK laser vision correction surgery through the TLCVision provider network, call (877) 752-6852 for information.

Blue Shield Subscriber Discounts - Click on the following link "Complementary and Alternative Health Discounts" for acupuncture, chiropractic and massage therapy discounts.

Cell Phone Calling Plans - Do you own a cell phone? Through their vendor contracts, the Purchasing Division has calling plan discounts with the following phone companies. To get more details call the representative listed for each vendor.
